在鄞州区首南街道文华社区里，生活着众多的国际友人中，来自巴基斯坦的浙大宁波理工学院传媒与法学院教师可汗是积极融入社区、投身慈善义工服务的生动缩影。文华社区地处南高教园区，周边有高校学生超8万人，每年有众多学子申请出国留学，三年来，可汗带领不少国际友人，利用业余时间帮学生修改简历、撰写英文推荐信。他的妻子虽回到自己的国家，但经常利用社交媒体帮忙宣传中国传统文化。此外，可汗开设的环球美食课堂和公益英语课已惠及超100户家庭。

In the Wenhua Community of Shounan Subdistrict, Yinzhou District, many international residents have made their home. Among them, Khan, a teacher from Pakistan at the School of Media and Law, Zhejiang University NingboTech, stands out as a vivid example of actively integrating into the community and dedicating himself to charitable volunteer work.

Universities with over 80,000 students surround Wenhua Community. Each year, many apply to study abroad. Over the past three years, Khan has led several international friends to volunteer their free time helping students polish their resumes and write English recommendation letters.

Although his wife has returned to her home country, she continues to promote traditional Chinese culture through social media. In addition, Khan’s “Global Cuisine Workshop” and free English classes have benefited more than 100 local families.
